Pushing Hands

Pushing hands consists of partnered drills. The drills are designed to improve qualities useful in self defence such as sensitivity, balance, footwork, distance, timing and co-ordination.

There are eight major methods of pushing hands and these can be divided into fixed step or moving step.

Free style push hands allows students to test their skills developed in basic training and to compete in open competition.
